June is one of the quieter months in Phuket, which is ideal for visitors planning a trip at this time of the year, you can enjoy the cheap off season room rates that are available at the resorts and hotels. When visiting Phuket throughout the low season there is a chance that you will get to experience some cloudy and or rainy days, however the temperature is perfect. If you are planning to visit Phuket during June, and it does happen to rain don’t stress as there are loads of fun rainy day activities available for all ages groups. We are in the process of finalising our next family vacation to Phuket for late June! This year we have decided to extend our trip so we can explore Cambodia, and take in the sights of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, then onto Kanchanaburi in Thailand to visit places like the Bridge over the River Kwai, the Death Railway, Hellfire Pass, the Tiger Temple and Erawan Waterfalls. From there we plan to head south to Krabi, Ko Phi Phi and then on to Phuket for some much needed rest and relaxation. By searching for our accommodation online using Agoda we have been able to find and secure great deals on low priced accommodation, with these cheap room rates it makes an overseas holiday affordable for an average income family like ourselves.
Below is just a couple of examples of the type of cheap room rates that we found available in June for an affordable vacation in Phuket, Krabi and the Phi Phi Islands. Thavorn Beach Village & Spa has fantastic room rates in June, these rooms are normally priced at 2,827 baht a night, in June booking through Agoda we found rooms priced from a low 1,274 baht a night for two people in a garden view bungalow with breakfast included, this is equivalent to AUS$40.00. This four star resort is located in the secluded Nakalay Bay just seven minutes drive north of Patong. The Sand Sea Resort at Railay Beach, Krabi has deluxe fan bungalows available for AUS$28.00 a night including breakfast or for $42.00 a night including breakfast you can stay in a superior air conditioned bungalow. The Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort has great deals until the end of July, for AUS$23.00 a night you and your partner can stay in a garden view bungalow, the resort is located on the East coast of Phi Phi Don on Pak Nam Beach between Runtee Bay and Lo Ba Kao Bay.
